My week vaction in April

Wednesday- I was dropped off at the Albuquerque air port. As I got to the gate a woman sat next to me with her little girl. We got to talk and play with her one year daughter before we got onto the plane. The 1:34 min went by fast and I sat next to a nice man that was visiting his daughter. We talked about Albuquerque, the weather and course the church. The light was to Salt Lake so every one was LDS. Well you could tell a lot of them were. The family that was sitting next to me all ordered sprite. I felt bad that I had gotten a coke but i needed something my head was kills me. As I got into SLC found my next flight, I thought I will relax, eat this Nutella sandwich that I had been wanting to eat all day. As I got comfy I started to people watch, you know no big deal, just look around, watching people come and go, in a hurry, or just relaxed about it all. As I looked a round, I saw a guy across the way. Could it be? No I couldn't, but it was my cousin Steve and his wife Lindsey Madsen! They live in Washington DC. We were on the same flight! This was the first time I met his wife! I knew her little brother Ryan. So that was fun that I got to meet them, and talk to them, catch up a little while it was just us. As we got on the bigger plane, with a TV in the seat in front of us, so I got to watch some tv, and look out the window this time. Last flight I was in the isle. I got off and met up with Steve and Lindsey, and they told me where to catch the shuttle to St George in a couple days. We parted ways as I went to wait to get picked up from my friend Jennifer. Jennifer and I went to girls camp together, and then our freshmen year became close, and went to EFY that summer. She moved to Boise after EFY. We kept in touch, and saw each other once in a while, while we lived in Utah. She went on a mission and I moved to NM and her to Las Vegas with her family. It had been at least 5-7 YEARS since we saw each other last.  We went to her house, and got to meet her VERY tell husband and we watched some tv and then to bed.

Thursday- we got up, ready, went and looked at a house that they put an offer on. Cute house, has some things to fix but it was nice. then we headed into town. Grabbed some lunch at IN and OUT. This was my only request while I was there. We went back to her house and put the baby down and took a nap ourselves. After Jen, Emily and I headed to their parents house and went for a swim. We laid out in the sun, and chatted. We then went home to make dinner. Breakfast for dinner. We then went to back to do some more swimming with the kids and sat in the hot tub. Once the kids were wore out and in bed, we made some treats and sat down to watch a movie, about 30 mins into it I was out. Swimming must have worn me out.

Friday- we got up, got ready and headed for the strip. We only had a couple hours because I needed to be at the airport at 1:15 to catch the shuttle to St. George. We walked the strip. The sun felt  WONDERFUL!  I got some souvenirs in the ABC store, that's just the best store ever. We walked over to Aria to see my cousin Jaala. It was seeing her. It had to be at least 10 or more years since I've seen her.  We had lunch on the strip, then they took me to the airport. The drive from the airport to St George wasn't that long of a trip. Got some shut eye a little. My parents picked me up, and then we went to WINGERS! Oh my heavens! It's such a great place to be, even if I can't have the sticky finger, I still got some of the amazing sauce. I might have even boughten some for me and a co-worker. It was heavenly! After dinner we went to see where my Aunt and some family was staying. We helped with the cakes for the lunch in. We got to visit with some family, and then went to see if they needed help setting up for the reception. They didn't need any help so we went and got some dole whip. If anyone that knows my mother knows how much she loves her dole whip. We can only get it 3 places. Disenyland, Hawaii, and St George. So we had to get some! We went back and went to bed, it was a busy day.

Saturday-was the wedding day. We got ready, mom and I walked to the temple. I helped watched the children that were at the temple. Lindsey and Micheal came out and we took pictures and they looked so happy and beautiful couple. After went back to the room and talked, and then walked across the street to get frozen custard. It was yummy. We went to the lunchin and had some ribs, potatoes, salad, yummy drinks, and cake. Oh my heavens the cake was wonderful! Aunt Debbie's 4 layer cake is so good! And amazing that it was gluten free!  After the lunchin we went to my cousins condo and went swimming. Adie and I had a great time. After a couple hours of that the parents and I went to our hotel and took a short nap, and then it was time to party. They were serving waffles, had a photo booth, dancing, and it was fun to visit with family. We got to see family that we hadn't seen in a long time.

Sunday- we went to sacurment with the Madsens and then we headed out Farmington bound. It was a nice trip. We got home and dad had to feed his little babies, and check on them and all. He has 12 chickens, 4 chicks, 1 rooster, and the rest hens. The chicks are pretty dang cute. Those little guys squawk load! We took a walk and saw some neighbor, and chatted for a little while. I then went across the street to see Monica and help with a gift she is making for her grand baby. It's going to be darling.

Monday- Mom and I drove to Albuquerque. Matt came over and made some dinner and then we went and did a little shopping. We had a little fun while at the shopping. lol it was funny watching mom get on and off the Deer. then home to watch a movie and bed time.

Tuesday- Mom and I hiked the La Luz trail. We walked about 8.5 miles. First hike of the season. We had fun hiking. we had Five guys for dinner and then we watched a movie and just relaxed. Bedtime early because I had work early the next morning.
