Labor Day weekend

My  fun filled weekend started on Wednesday for me. My parents drove down from Utah and so we spent the night chatting it up. Thursday I got up and made breakfast, and then went to work. I came home and finished making crock pot Lasagna, because  the sister missionaries were coming to dinner. After dinner and a little bagging of some green chili, we went to see our good friend Brenda. She had come down so she could spend time with my parents. Friday morning I went to work and then came home a little early so that we could leave a at about two. We then took off. I slept some of the way and in Aztec got some DQ! Yummy! Then it was on to Durango! We go to our condo and unloaded and played a couple games and waited for Matt and Eliska to get there. It was about 11:30 and so we were all very tired. I was ready for bed. Saturday morning we got up and dad made breakfast, and then we headed out to Durango Resort. Mom and I bought a 5 use pass. So a pass that would let you do 5 activities that they offer there at the Resort. So mom and I raced down the alpine slide twice. I won and then she did. I let dad and Eliska go down once using my pass. After we had lunch and a small rain storm, I went to and did my other 2 activities. I used one of moms and the last one of mine. So I choose to do the zip line, and obstical course. Man, I used muscles I hadn't used in months on that course. After that we went to Bar-D for a good dinner. We stopped off at bakers bridge first to show Eliska where Matt has jumped off the bridge. Some places just bring back memories of moments with people that you are no longer friends with. Matt and Eliska walked around Bar-D and then the 3 of us played some card games, as we waited for dinner and the show to start. The food is always amazing and the Show always has some good laughs. Sunday the parents and I got up and went to the beautiful Silverton branch ans went to church. It was packed full of people. We use to come every Labor day weekend growing up. Most of the branch members are still the same. We then went home for lunch, and a good nap. We yet again played card games, yes we did this alot. We went for a walk, or played some badmitten, and just had a good time. Monday we got up, had breakfast, and packed up our stuff. Mom, dad and I went to the top of the mountain and hiked down the mountain. We then went into Duarngo and had lunch with all of once one last time.
